  The International Reading Association (IRA) and the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) collaborated to develop the site which is dedicated to improving reading and language arts instruction.

  The Sourcebook for Teaching Science provides many creative teaching ideas. This website was developed to accompany The Sourcebook for Teaching Science textbook. There are a variety of science games such as jeopardy (with sample PowerPoint template), taboo, bingo, Pictionary, baseball, what in the world, twenty-one questions, computer games & simulations, tangrams, timers & stopwatches, and icebreaker games. In addition to the interactive games and activities; the website provides teaching strategies and resources for developing scientific literacy, reasoning, understanding, problem solving, research skills, and resources for teaching science.

  The science teachers' website provides flash card activities, crossword puzzles, lesson plans and other learning activities for Life Science, Space Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. The activities are suitable for upper elementary and middle school students.

• Federal Resources for Educational Excellence
  The Federal Resources for Educational Excellence is sponsored by ed.gov. This website leads to a variety of resources from federal agencies. There are over 100 links and resources on this website.
• The Library of Congress
  This site offers thousands of pictures and artifacts that can be used to enrich social studies lessons and provides daily writing prompts.

Technology

• CAST.org
  The cast.org website provides resources that support UDL teaching strategies. There are graphic organizers that can be used in all subject areas.
• 4teachers.org
  Provides assistance to teachers in the use of technology in their classrooms. Offers free online tools and resources, including printable checklists.

  This site provides everyone with free downloads of graphic organizers.
• Edhelper.com
  Edhelper.com has a variety of free printable PDF graphic organizers for all grade levels and subject areas. This website uses the traditional graphic organizers and many creative styles that inspire students to participate and learn.
• Region 15 Graphic Organizers
  This website displays the graphic organizers by categories, presentation style and language. The graphic organizers are available in Spanish and English. This is a good resource for students learning Spanish and those who speak Spanish and are learning English as a second language.
